THE JUICE:

With the Aquis Pro 4000m, Oris packs in a lot of features.  On the technical front, Oris utilizes its Oris Calibre 400 high-performance automatic movement, which has a significant 120-hour (5-day) power reserve.  Oris also included a lockable Rotation Safety System bezel on the watch, which allows for a diver to lock the bezel in place to ensure accurate timing.

From a visual standpoint, Oris designed the Aquis Pro 4000m with divers and those who love the ocean in mind.  The wave pattern on the blue gradient dial reminds the wearer of the waves out on the sea, and it matches the strap perfectly.  While it's a large watch at 49.5mm, the size ensures easy visibility in the depths, and since the case is made out of Titanium it won’t be super heavy.  And since it's under 50mm, it still fits many wrists well.

Further, since the watch is so large to accommodate the depth rating with an oversized rubber strap, Oris features a security folding clasp extension. This allows the strap to be adjusted while it’s on the wrist of a Diver - A unique convenience for a diver, and a fantastic addition from the brand.

The Aquis Pro 4000m will fit right in with its cousins in the Aquis collection, as the overall design scheme is similar.  With that being said, the wave pattern on the dial coupled with the Rotation Safety System bezel and the impressive depth rating make it the perfect upgrade for a diver.
