Floyd Mayweather's Watch Collection Including an $18 Million Dollar Watch

Floyd Mayweather Watch Collection

Floyd Mayweather Jr., the ostentatious boxer, is quite the divisive figure. Regardless of whether you like him or hate him, he was a terrific boxer and one of the greatest of all time. When he retired in 2017 as a professional boxer (he still fights exhibition matches), he retired with an undefeated record and 15 major world championships.

Mayweather’s ostentatious persona extends beyond the ring. He is an internet celebrity and boxing promoter, known for his company The Money Team or TMT, and for his flashy attire. Like his fighting counterpart, Conor McGregor, Mayweather’s flashy demeanor extends to his watch collection, which is just as flashy as the man himself. Whether it is Richard Mille, Rolex, Audemars Piguet or Hublot, Mayweather’s timepieces are as flashy as you would imagine (that’s one of the luxuries of being perhaps the greatest boxer of all time). Whether Floyd is flashing his newest piece on Instagram or just out and about, let’s take a look at the featherweight’s watch collection.

Floyd Mayweather’s Hublot MP-05 LaFerrari Sapphire

Mayweather and Hublot seem like the perfect combination. Both are rather divisive, but both are extremely good at what they do. And Hublot makes some pretty flashy watches. That seems perfect for Mayweather. One of the more interesting watches in Floyd’s Hublot collection is the MP-05 LaFerrari. The caliber HUB9005 watch movement is meant to resemble a Ferrari engine, and the case is made of a single piece of sapphire. In addition to the “engine” gears, the watch has a vertically mounted tourbillon. Needles to say, technically the LaFerrari is a very impressive watch. Floyd has been seeing wearing his LaFerrari both at Hublot sponsored events and out and about (that’s how we know it’s actually in his collection). At the time of its release in 2016, the Hublot LaFerrari in sapphire retailed for $575,000 USD. It is currently available on the secondary market for a little under retail, at $545,000 USD.

Floyd Mayweather’s Hublot Big Bang Unico Haute Joaillerie

You may have noticed the first two photographs of Mayweather are actually the exact same photo. Well, that’s because he is not wearing one, but two watches. In addition to the LaFerrari we already profiled, Mayweather is wearing the iced out Hublot Big Bang Unico Haute Joaillerie. Apparently Floyd bought(?) this watch back in 2015 during a shopping spree in Dubai. Given Mayweather’s close relationship with Hublot, it smells a little like a marketing story to me. Released in 2015, the Big Bang Unico Haute Joaillerie Floyd has been seen wearing on occasion is adorned with 653 baguette factory-set diamonds totaling 40.02 carats. The retail price on this watch was a whopping $1.1 million USD.

Floyd Mayweather’s Hublot Big Bang Unico TMT Yellow Gold

My skepticism for whether Mayweather paid full price for his Hublots (or paid at all) is further exacerbated by the fact that he has collaborated with Hublot on limited edition pieces, including the Hublot Unico TMT in yellow gold. At 12 o’clock, above Hublot, are the letters TMT, which refer to Mayweather’s company “The Money Team”. The yellow gold variation has factory-set diamonds and bezel (48 baguette-cut diamonds and 378 brilliant-cut diamonds) and an open skeleton dial. This watch was a limited edition of just 10 pieces and retailed for $93,700 USD (but also came with a boxing glove autographed by Mayweather).

Floyd Mayweather’s Jacob & Co. Billionaire III Watch

If you had to ask me what other luxury watch brand fit Floyd Mayweather’s oversized personality, I would say Jacob & Co. without hesitation. Jacob & Co. is known for big and bold watches, often with a lot (and I mean A LOT) of diamonds. Case in point is the Jacob & Co. Billionaire III Mayweather has repeatedly been seen wearing. The watch lives up to its name. The Jacob & Co. Billionaire watch is set with 260 carats of emerald-cut diamonds and has a rectangular case and visible, skeletonized dial. And the retail price of this watch? Well, apparently it retails for $18,000,000 USD. Yes Floyd Mayweather has an 18 million dollar watch (though who knows how much, if anything, he actually paid for the watch). This $18 million price-tag ranks his Jacob & Co. Billionaire III as one of the most expensive watches around. That is some serious wrist presence.

Floyd Mayweather’s Jacob & Co. Royal

After showcasing the Billionaire III, there is really nowhere to go but down. But, the Jacob & Co. Royal is another completely diamond adorned watch in Floyd’s collection. This watch is fairly large, with a case diameter of 49mm and has a dial, bracelet and case fully set with baguette-cute diamonds. The Jacob & Co. Royal is another very expensive timepiece, with a retail price tag of around $1,000,000 USD.

Floyd Mayweather’s Jacob & Co. Rainbow Tourbillon

It seems all of Mayweather’s Jacob & Co. wristwatches are completely encased in diamonds. That includes his piece unique (one of one) Rainbow Tourbillon. The watch is set with 416 diamonds in a white gold case. The diamond-set bezel, case and bracelet diamonds are all white diamonds, while the dial diamonds are yellow. Additionally, this piece has a tourbillon movement, visible at 9 o’clock. The Rainbow Tourbillon retails for around $2,000,000 USD.

Floyd Mayweather’s Patek Philippe Nautilus 5723/1R

One of Mayweather’s more, shall we say, understated watches is actually a personal favorite of mine: the Patek Philippe Nautilus Ref. 5723/1R. The Nautilus 5723/1R comes in rose gold with a factory-set baguette ruby bezel and baguette ruby indices on a chocolate dial. While I may not be one for gem-set watches, I would make an exception for the 5723/1R. The Patek Philippe Nautilus Ref. 5723/1R retails for around $350,000 USD. For those who don’t love the rose gold color, the watch also comes in platinum.

Floyd Mayweather’s Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 15130

Mayweather’s collection also includes quite a few pieces from the iconic Swiss brand Audemars Piguet. One of these pieces is the Royal Oak Ref. 15130. This bracelet and case of this watch is set with 474 baguette-cut diamonds and the dial is set with an additional 116 baguette-cut diamonds. Altogether this watch has a total carat weight of 54.52. Because of this, the retail price for this watch is $1,390,000 USD.

Floyd Mayweather’s Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Rainbow Chandelier

Welterweight Floyd Mayweather is someone that isn’t afraid to customize his ultra-luxury timepieces. While Mayweather’s Royal Oak Ref. 15130 was completely factory, his Royal Oak Rainbow Chandelier is a custom commission. The Rainbow Chandelier was custom set with multiple gemstones, including baguette-cut sapphires, emeralds, rubies and diamonds by Eric Da Jeweler. That’s some serious bling! There is currently not known price for this piece. So for now it’s all conjecture.

Floyd Mayweather’s Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore with Diamonds

Mayweather has also been seeing wearing a yellow gold Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore with diamonds on the dial, bezel, case and bracelet. The Royal Oak Offshore is a little bit larger and more sporty than than the Royal Oak (as you can see from the rubber crown and pushers). It appears that entire 18-karat bracelet of the timepiece and case are set with aftermarket diamonds, including a pave dial, as opposed to being factory set. You can find a similar piece on the secondary market for around $100,000 USD.

Floyd Mayweather’s Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Arnold Schwarzenegger

Floyd likes big watches, and one of the biggest he’s been seen wearing is the 48 mm limited edition Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Arnold Schwarzenegger in rose gold with diamonds. This piece, designed in collaboration with the Terminator himself, has chocolate brown subdials, number indices and tachymeter and diamonds all over (including pavé dial). I have always thought a chocolate brown dial goes with a rose gold case. Not many of these pieces come up for sale, so the market price is unknown.

Floyd Mayweather’s Richard Mille RM 59-01 Tourbillon Yohan Blake

Who would have thought that one of Mayweather’s most understated watches is actually a Richard Mille? Well, Floyd’s RM 59-01 Yohan Blake has no diamonds to speak of. The watch is limited to just 50 pieces and retails for $620,000 USD. The watch was designed in collaboration with Jamaican sprinter Yohan Blake specifically for sprinters. We have seen tennis great Rafael Nadal wear a Richard Mille as well as golfer Bubba Watson. These watches are clearly designed for the rigors of athletics. So will Mayweather ever box while wearing a Richard Mille?

Floyd Mayweather’s Richard Mille RM 35-02 Tourbillon Rafael Nadal

We already discussed how many Richard Mille watches are designed for athletics, including the collaboration between the brand and Rafael Nadal. Well, Floyd has been seen wearing Nadal and RM’s collaboration, the Richard Mille RM 35-02 Tourbillon “Rafael Nadal”. The RM 35-02 has an automatic movement, as opposed to a hound wound tourbillon in some of Nadal’s other collaborations. Mayweather’s version is iced-out a little with diamonds on the bezel. The retail price of this piece is $135,000 USD.

Floyd Mayweather’s Richard Mille RM 011 Felipe Massa

The final Richard Mille we are featuring in Mayweather’s collection is the RM 011 Felipe Massa. Mayweather’s titanium watch is encrusted on diamonds on the case and bezel and has a pink strap. The watch also features a flyback chronograph functionality as well as the date. The Richard Mille RM 011 Felipe Massa is currently selling on the secondary market for around $245,000 USD.

Floyd Mayweather’s Rolex Sky-Dweller Ref. 326938

Floyd has also been seen wearing a couple of Rolexes. One of the watches he was seen wearing earlier in his career, was the yellow gold 42mm Rolex Sky-Dweller Ref. 326938. This watch features a matching gold dial with the center second time-zone ring in white. The Sky-Dweller is one of Rolex’s most complicated watches. In addition to date and second time-zone complications, the Sky-Dweller also has a month complication. This Sky-Dweller Ref. 326938 owned by the boxing legend is currently discontinued, but is selling on the secondary market for around $48,000 USD.

Floyd Mayweather’s Rolex Sky-Dweller Ref. 326938 with Diamonds

So it appears that Mayweather might have taken his Sky-Dweller Ref. 326938 to a jeweler and had it set with diamonds on the bezel, case and bracelet. More recently, he was seen wearing the exact same reference Rolex Sky-Dweller, only now it had diamonds all over it. Rolex doesn’t make the watch with factory diamonds all over so we know it’s custom. Whether it is the exact same watch or just the same model, we probably will never know. We do know that a similar custom Rolex Sky-Dweller Ref. 326948 is currently available for sale for $77,500 USD.
