Keanu Reeves' Watch Collection - From Rolex to Patek Philippe

Keanu Reeves' Watch Collection

Keanu Reeves is something of an anomaly in Hollywood. A mega movie star who not only has had a long and illustrious career, but someone who has also remained grounded and earned himself the title of nicest man in Holllywood from his peers. The Matrix star is not only a favorite among his peers, but also fans worldwide. There is just not much to dislike about the guy. Reeves maintains a cool, low-key demeanor that extends to the watches he wears. I take a look at 8 of the pieces Keanu has in his collection.

Keanu Reeves’ Rolex Watches

Reeves appears to have a few Rolexes in his collection. One of the more interesting pieces is his Rolex GMT-Master II Coke Ref. 16710. Reeves wore the Coke on the set of the 2008 film Street Kings, and has also been seen wearing it in the film. This classic piece has become a favorite of Rolex collectors. The Coke was discontinued in 2007 but there are expectations among many in the watch community that Rolex will soon bring it back into production. You can find the Rolex GMT-Master II Coke on the secondary market for between $13,000 USD to to $18,000 USD.

Keanu also appeared 2 years earlier in the romance time travel film The Lake House (2006) wearing another Rolex, this time a Submariner. The Submariner, Ref. 16610, is the ultimate “tool watch” and perfect for someone of Reeves’ understated nature. You can find the Rolex Submariner Ref. 16610 on the secondary market for between $10,000 USD and $12,000 USD.

Reeves appears to be a big fan of the Submariner, so much so that in 2021 he gifted his entire John Wick 4 stunt team new Rolex Submariners (John Wick 4 was the final film in the John Wick series). The watches were engraved with “The John Wick Five / Thank You / Keanu / JW4 /2021”. In addition to gifting his four stuntmen with a Submariner, he made sure to get himself one as well (hence, the John Wick Five). A great show of appreciation from “the nicest guy in Hollywood”. Keanu Reeves’ Patek Philippe Golden Ellipse Watch

Who knew Keanu would have something in common with both the Queen and Drake. All three happen to own a Patek Philippe Golden Ellipse (though Drake’s and the Queen’s are a little more ornate with diamonds). Reeves was photographed for Esquire magazine wearing the classic Patek Philippe in 2021. The Patek Philippe Golden Ellipse Ref. 5738R has a self-winding movement, rose gold case and black dial. It retails for $35,250 USD.

Keanu Reeves’ Oris Modern Classic 7490 Watch

Oris watches have been in multiple movies and television shows, including in the 2005 film Constantine. In the movie, Keanu Reeves wears the Oris Modern Classic Ref. 7490. While this piece is discontinued, the Oris Big Crown shares many similarities to the piece.

Keanu Reeves’ Carl F. Bucherer Watches

Carl F. Bucherer watches featured heavily in the John Wick franchise and Reeves has been spotted wearing them off-screen as well. During the John Wick 2 premiere, Reeves wore the Patravi Travel Tech II GMT chronograph. You can find this piece on the secondary market for around $8,000 USD on the secondary market.

At the John Wick 3: Parabellum premiere, Keanu was once again sporting a Carl F. Bucherer watch. This time he was wearing the limited edition of 50 Carl F. Bucherer Patravi ScubaTec. This watch is not just any limited edition, it appears to have been given only to cast and crew. Since the watch was not available for sale to the public there is no price for it. However, similar models have been sold by Bucherer in the $6,000 USD price range.

Keanu Reeves’ Casio G-Shock Watch

The final watch I am featuring is from Reeves’ breakout film, Speed (1994). In the film Reeves must diffuse a bomb that a revenge-driven extortionist (played Dennis Hopper) has planted on a bus. The bomb would go off if the bus went below 50 miles per hour. Though the plot sounds somewhat absurd, the movie was a commercial success and jump-started Reeves’ career. In the film, Keanu is seen wearing a simple Casio G-Shock Ref. DW-5600C-1V. Today Casio still makes the watch, selling them for $69.95 USD on their website.

Keanu Reeves’ Parmigiani Fleurier Toric Memory Time

I was very thankful when a friend reached out to me recently to let me know that Reeves’, back in 2006, was spotted in another, very interesting timepiece. The piece in question is the Pargmigiani Fleurier Toric Memory Time, which was introduced by the brand 10 years earlier, in 1996. The Toric Memory Time was designed by Michel Parmigiani himself and influenced by Greek architecture. You can see these classic design cues in Reeves’ watch, which sets itself apart from other timepieces. It’s not something you see very often, so it’s nice to see someone like Reeves wearing something different. While it does not appear that any of the Toric Memory Time watches are available on the secondary market for sale, past sales have been in the $24,000 USD range.

Keanu Reeves’ IWC Big Pilot IW500912

Back in 2017 Keanu Reeves graced the cover of Men’s Fitness magazine looking pretty fit and healthy. But there was one other thing I noticed when looking at the cover, the conspicuous placement of a classic pilot watch, the IWC Big Pilot Ref. IW500912. The Ref. IW500912 is as classic as you can get for the Big Pilot model. Measuring at a hefty diameter of 46.2mm, it is a pretty big watch. This stainless steel piece also has a lengthy 7 day power reserve and the date at 6 o’clock. The Big Pilot is actually pretty understated despite it’s size and a perfect fit for Keanu. The IWC Big Pilot Ref. IW500912 retails for $13,200 USD.
