Introducing the Wren Diver 38 Aqua: Our Most Popular Model, Reimagined

Wren Diver 38 Aqua Date Wrist ###

The Diver One Aqua wasn’t just popular. It became the watch people kept asking for.

From the moment it launched, the response was different. Collectors were drawn to the vivid aqua dial, the clean proportions, and the no-nonsense tool watch design. It quickly became our most talked-about and most requested model — a watch that sold out fast and never really left the conversation.

Now, it’s back.

We’re proud to introduce the Diver 38 Aqua, a complete evolution of the original in a more refined 38mm case, with upgraded specs across the board. Pre-orders are officially open.

This release came sooner than we planned. Earlier this month, Kevin O’Leary wore a prototype of the Diver 38 Aqua on the set of Shark Tank and posted it on Instagram. That one video sent everything into motion. The interest was immediate, and it became clear that this wasn’t something we could sit on. So we moved the timeline up and made it official.

Kevin has been a supporter of the Aqua from the start. In a YouTube video with Teddy Baldassarre from about a year ago, where the two ranked watches from eight small brands, the original Diver One Aqua placed second overall. That kind of recognition — especially coming from people who see everything — was a huge moment for us and a reflection of what our community has been telling us all along.

The Diver 38 Aqua keeps the original’s character and color but delivers it in a new case size and build. At 38mm, the watch wears flatter and more comfortably, with vintage-inspired proportions that suit a wide range of wrists. The case design is still familiar but more refined, with tighter brushing and improved transitions.

Inside, we’ve upgraded the movement to the Swiss-made ETA 2892. It’s thinner, smoother, and higher spec than the Sellita used in the original Aqua. It gives the watch a slimmer profile and a more premium feel. The bezel insert is now ceramic for better scratch resistance and long-term durability. And for the first time in any Wren diver, we’ve added a sapphire display caseback, showcasing a custom skeleton rotor designed specifically for this release.

We also reworked the clasp to include a tool-free microadjust system, making it easy to dial in the right fit on the fly. These small changes add up to a watch that feels more finished and more versatile in day-to-day wear.

At the center of it all is the same aqua dial. We didn’t change the color or texture. It’s the exact same dial that made the original a hit — sunray, legible, and changes in the light.

To mark the launch, the first 100 orders of the Diver 38 Aqua will receive individually numbered casebacks. After those are gone, the model will still be available in limited quantities, but without numbering.

This is the most complete Wren diver we’ve ever made. It reflects everything we’ve learned since the original Aqua launched and answers the feedback we’ve received from collectors and customers alike.

If you missed the first run, this is your second chance. And if you’re new to Wren, the Diver 38 Aqua is as good a place to start as any.

Pre-orders are live now.
