Introducing the Oris Big Crown Pointer Date Father Time Limited Edition

Oris is not only a partner to MCC, but also making their debut as the first official timekeeper of the Lord’s Cricket Ground. This historic partnership is off to a tremendous start with the new limited edition Oris Big Crown Pointer Date Father Time Limited Edition.

THE JUICE:

High above the pitch at Lord’s Cricket Ground is a clock tower that is home to the iconic ‘Father Time’ weathervane - which can be seen engraved on the caseback of this eponymous limited release. In my opinion, this detail, while small, really ties this release to the history of the Marylebone Cricket Club.

The rest of the case and dial are traditional to the Oris Big Crown line, including the fluted finishing on the bezel and the railroad-esque pattern tracking the date on the outer edge of the dial. The contrasting red pointer hand helps the date to be legible at a glance - wearers will also appreciate being able to quick set the date. Wearers will have the choice between a supple Cervo Volante leather strap and a multi-piece bronze bracelet, keeping versatility at a premium and making this a perfect daily wear.

Oris is no stranger to bronze cases in their famed Big Crown line - nor are they strangers to making fans drool with the continued quality of their releases. Oris has been on a tear the last few months, and I am excited to see what else they have in store for us in the near future.

So how much is the Oris Big Crown Pointer Date Father Time Limited Edition?
