Daniel Craig's Watch Collection Including Omega, Rolex and Even Swatch

Daniel Craig's Watch Collection

Daniel Craig’s illustrious career as James Bond recently came to an end. Due to a partnership between Omega and the Bond star, Craig has been seen wearing different Omega models on and off the screen. But in addition to the multitude of Omegas in his collection, Daniel Craig also has a few Rolexes as well. Let’s take a look at what his collection has to offer.

Daniel Craig’s Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Ref. 2201.50.00

Daniel Craig first appeared as Bond, taking over for Pierce Brosnan, in 2006’s Casino Royale. Craig followed in Brosnan’s footsneps wearing an Omega Seamaster in Casino Royale. Brosnan’s Seamaster is a larger 45.5 mm, with unidirectional bezel and 600 meters (2,000 feet) of water resistance. This seems like a great tool dive watch for Bond to be wearing. While it is no longer available for sale, you can find it on the secondary market for around $4,000 USD.

Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Master Chronometer Ref. 231.10.42.21.03.003

Craig also wore an Omega Seamaster during Skyfall (2012). The Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Master Chronometer is a more modern take on a Seamaster with a sunburst blue ribbed dial. The watch runs on Omega’s calibre 8500 movement which is resistant to magnetic fields stronger than 15,000 gauss. The watch also has a water resistance to 150 meters (or 500 feet). You can pick it up on the secondary market for around $3,800 USD.

Daniel Craig’s Omega Seamaster 300 Ref. 233.32.41.21.01.001

Craig wore another Omega Seamaster in the 2015 Bond film Spectre. This time he wore the Omega Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial Chronometer 41mm. This piece has a lot of vintage charm, from the matte black dial, to the vintage lume on the hour markers and hands. Sean Connery famously wore his Rolex Submariner ref. 6538 on a NATO strap in Goldfinger. In addition to vintage lume, this watch pays homage to that famous Rolex by also being on a NATO strap. The Omega Seamaster 300 Spectre Limited Edition currently sells on the secondary market for between $13,000 USD and $19,000 USD.

Daniel Craig’s Omega Seamaster Diver 300M 210.90.42.20.01.001

In his final James Bond Film No Time to Die (2021), Craig opted for another Omega Seamaster diver. The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition does a great job blending the old with the new, featuring vintage lume and matte brown dial but a modern case shape that is made from titanium. This Seamaster is a serious dive watch too as it is water resisted to 300 meters. The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition retails for $9,200 USD.

While on the screen as Bond you will normally seem Craig wearing some form of Seamaster, he has also been spotted on set wearing another popular Omega model, the Speedmaster. Craig was spotted on the set of No Time to Die wearing the Omega Speedmaster ‘57 Chronograph. This piece was in 2017 to celebrate the 60-year anniversary of the Speedmaster’s initial release in 1957. Daniel Craig’s Omega De Ville Hour Vision blue

Omega’s partnership with Omega goes beyond James Bond. He has appeared in advertisements and been seen off-screen wearing other model Omegas, including the De Vill Hour Vision dress watch in blue. This piece features a 41 mm stainless steel case and has a sun-brushed blue dial with blue outside hour track. While Craig’s piece only has a date complication, there is also another version with an annual calendar. Daniel Craig’s Vintage Omega Seamaster Memomatic

Post-James Bond it appears that Craig will continue to wear Omega timepieces, but perhaps he has a little more freedom to pick and choose the pieces he wants to wear. He was seen recently wearing a vintage Omega Seamaster Memomatic from the 1970s. We believe the model is the Ref. 166.072 which was manufactured from 1969-1971, 1974 and 1980. THe watch features an interesting dial that has a blue hour ring and inner silver dial. While not called a GMT, the Memomatic has a second hour hand on the inner silver disc that allows for the wearer to set a second time zone. Prices for the Omega Memoatic vary, but we are seeing similar versions for between $3,000 USD and $4,000 USD.

Daniel Craig’s Omega Seamaster 1948

One of the questions we have been getting a lot recently is this: What watch does Daniel Craig wear in Glass Onion? If you guess it was another Omega you’d be correct. Craig’s eccentric Knives Out character Detective Benoit Blanc wears a very clean and vintage-style (yet modern) Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Seamaster 1948. This piece is a slim 38mm (so is wearable even for those with smaller wrists). The vintage inspiration can be seen in the small seconds at 6 o’clock as well as the in the white gold indices. The watch is limited to just 1,948 pieces and retails for $6,900 USD.

Daniel Craig’s Omega X Swatch Speedmaster MoonSwatch Mission to Neptune

If you were wondering whether Daniel Craig owns a MoonSwatch we got the answer to that question recently. Craig was recently spotted wearing the Omega X Swatch Speedmaster MoonSwatch Neptune while at the 2023 National Board of Review Gala. While the MoonSwatch is technically a Swatch, Omega is part of the Swatch Group, so it makes sense that Craig would own one. The MoonSwatch Neptune is the most in demand MoonSwatch, selling for around $1,000 USD on the secondary market (far above the $260 USD retail price). Rumor has it this is because Swatch discontinued the Neptune do to the blue leaking on people's wrists. You can learn more about the MoonSwatch and check out our rankings of all of them here.

Daniel Craig’s Rolex GMT-Master Pepsi

One may think that due to Craig’s relationship with Omega, that would be all he wears. Well, we have spotted him wearing a few Rolexes as well. Craig seems to have an eye for the stainless steel models. He has been spotted wearing multiple stainless steel Rolex sport models, including a Rolex GMT-Master Pepsi. The predecessor to the GMT-Master II, the GMT-Master was produced from 1959 to 1980. The GMT-Master has a second time-zone complication, making it the perfect watch to take while traveling. Craig’s particular model has been nicknamed the “Pepsi” by collectors due to the blue and red bezel, the colors of Pepsi’s logo. Similar Rolex GMT-Master Pepsi models sell on the secondary market for between $11,000 USD and $14,000 USD.

Daniel Craig’s Custom Rolex Submariner by Project X Designs

Surprisingly Craig has also been spotted wearing a customized Rolex Submariner by British customizer Project X Designs. Craig’s 50th Anniversary Rolex LV Submariner has been customized to replace the green bezel with a more traditional black bezel. To give the watch a more vintage look the crown guard and cyclops date magnifier have both been removed and the crown was replaced with a larger crown to give it a “big crown” look. The watch also includes Project X’s logo, a large X on the dial. Only 24 pieces were made and they sold out quickly.

Daniel Craig’s Rolex Datejust 36

Daniel Craig has also been spotted wearing one of the more affordable Rolexes on the market, the 36mm Rolex Datejust with white dial and roman numeral hour markers. Craig was spotted wearing this piece in 2008, so his watch was likely produced in between 2000 and 2008. As far as Rolexes go, this is about as affordable as you can get. You can pick one up on the secondary market for between $5,000 USD and $7,000 USD.

Daniel Craig’s vintage Rolex Daytona Ref. 6263

One of our favorite Rolexes we have spotted Daniel Craig wearing is another vintage piece: the Daytona Ref. 6263. This piece features screw down chronograph pushers and bakelite bezel. Craig’s model has a white dial with black subdials with “DAYTONA” written in red above the 6 o’clock subdial. The Daytona 6263 was produced from 1971 until approximately 1987. Craig’s model sells on the grey market $100,000 USD to $140,000 USD.
