Bulgari. Known to most people outside of the industry for their luxurious jewelery, the brand have been in the watch world since the 1970s and quickly cemented itself as a key player and driving force behind innovation. The Juice:

Launched in 2014, the Octo Finissimo collection sent shockwaves through the watch world. Aesthetically and technologically ahead of its competitors, the Octo Finissimo watches have been industry leaders since their beginning: they really are fantastic displays of Bulgari’s expertise. Usually made out of materials like Titanium and Ceramic, known for their durability and lightness, the Octo Finissimo range is expanding with these new precious metal variants of the Tourbillion. Let’s see what they’re all about…

Bulgari Octo Finissimo Tourbillion Automatic

4.95mm. It is almost inconceivable that an automatic tourbillion watch can be that thin. Almost invisible on the wrist, the platinum case gives it some substance so that you can’t forget that it’s there. It is so thin, that you can barely dissociate the the different components. The dial and the movement become one. The mechanism is completely visible and fuses perfectly with the vibrant blue plate that constitutes the dial. The Tourbillion is nestled away amongst all the wheels and cogs, making it seem like a normal component in a watch (in reality it is far from being normal, especially this one). The watch comes with a gorgeous blue leather strap that integrates seamlessly with the case, making it look and feel super elegant and refined. As the thinnest Automatic Tourbillion in the world, this watch is definitely the pinnacle of the modern era of Haute-Horlogerie.

Bulgari Octo Finissimo Tourbillion Manual Rose Gold

The Bulgari Octo Finissimo Tourbillion Manuel in Rose Gold really encapsulates the essence of this collection. It’s elegant, luxurious, and sleek, whilst also being one of the most technologically advanced pieces in the industry. The Rose Gold case could not be a better choice to showcase its beautiful shape, especially with the alternating satin and polished finishings that really highlight how well it comes together. The chocolate brown leather strap is a nod to the past, adding to that ultra-luxurious feel. The skeletonized movement is definitely the polar opposite, and it has been pulled off perfectly: every component is perfectly visible, allowing us to admire the craftsmanship and time that has gone into getting each piece just right. The balance between avant garde modernity and traditional style is absolutely spot on. The Bulgari Octo Finissimo Tourbillion Manuel Rose Gold is a roaring success.

Bulgari Octo Finissimo Tourbillion Manuel Titanium

Titanium has often been the material of choice for the Octo Finissimo collection. Its lightweight and durable characteristics make it ideal for such a thin watch, ensuring that it can surmount all the technical obstacles that one might come across when producing a watch so thin. This latest version comes with a fantastic matte black finish, giving it that ultra-stealthy look, especially with the skeletonized movement. The Rose Gold accents and crown contrast so well, really keeping up with the luxurious side of the piece. The open-worked movement is really eye-catching, quietly drawing attention to the piece. The black rubber strap is super versatile, meaning that it can fit for almost any occasion. Bulgari Octo Finissimo Tourbillion Manuel Titanium strays true to the essence of the Octo Finissimo collection, whilst bringing some brilliant new features to the table.
