Tiger Woods' Watches - Tiger’s Rolex and Tag Heuer Collection

I have written about some of the greatest athletes and their watch collections, including Michael Jordan, Lebron James, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. Well another all-time great athlete has a pretty nice watch collection, and it’s made up almost exclusively of Rolexes. Maybe that’s because Tiger Woods has been a Rolex ambassador since 2011. Rolex continues to support Tiger and he can still be wearing Rolexes to this day.

Tiger Woods’ Tag Heuer Link Chronograph

Long before Tiger signed on with Rolex he was a Tag Heuer ambassador. Woods can be seen earlier in his career in Tag Heuer print advertisements selling the brand. One piece he was often seen wearing was the Tag Heuer Link Chronograph. The model was a standard enough chronograph, but named the Link, so it makes sense that they Tag would want Woods on board to promote it. You can find the Tag Heuer Link Chronograph on the secondary market for around $2,000 USD.

Tiger Woods’ Tag Heuer Kirium F1

Tiger was spotted in another Tag Heuer, the Kirium F1, back in 2006. An amalgam of a digital and analog watch, the watch is actually a chronograph. While the analog time display shows the current time, the disappearing digital display on the dial acts as the watch’s chronograph. While aesthetically the watch is not my cup of tea, it’s still a unique and interesting piece. The Tag Heuer Kirium F1 Chronograph sells for around $700 USD on the secondary market.

Tiger Woods’ Tudor Prince Date

At one point in his career, Tiger also represented Tudor Watches (a brand owned by Rolex). Tudor even gave Tiger his own model, the Tudor Prince Date Chronograph “Tiger” Edition. You can find the Tudor Prince Date Tiger on the secondary market for between $4,000 USD and $6,000 USD.

Tiger Woods’ Rolex Datejust II

Not long after signing on with Rolex to be an ambassador, Tiger could be seen sporting his first Rolex, the simple but classic Rolex Datejust II with blue sunburst dial. The Datejust 2 was the predecessor the Datejust 41 (which is currently in production). Both watches are available in 41mm. A 41mm Datejust II with jubilee bezel and blue dial will likely set you back around $13,000 USD on the secondary market.

Tiger Woods’ Rolex Submariner Date

When you think Rolex, you think of the Submariner. The ultimate tool watch has been anchoring Rolex’s lineup since its original release back in 1953. Tiger has been seen wearing the Submariner on numerous occasions, including on the golf course. As a “tool watch” Submariner is meant to take a beating so it makes sense that Woods would get a lot of use out of it. The Rolex Submariner Date Ref. 126610LN retails for $10,100 USD.

Tiger Wood’s Rolex GMT-Master II in Two-Tone

Tiger has been spotted in the two-tone yellow gold and steel Rolex GMT-Master II Ref. 116713LN. While I understand two-tone watches may not be for everyone, I have always thought that this Rolex is one of the better looking two-tone pieces. The black bezel with gold accents fits the two-tone case and bracelet perfectly. The GMT-Master II Ref. 116713LN has been discontinued but you can find it on the secondary market for around $16,000 USD.

Tiger Woods’ Rolex Day-Date 40 in White Gold

The Rolex Day-Date is a special model as it’s only offered in precious metals (i.e. platinum and gold). Well Tiger has been spotted in probably the cleanest and most understated Day-Date currently on the market: the white gold Rolex Day-Date 40 with white dial and roman numeral indices. If you didn’t know the watch was only offered in gold and platinum, you wouldn’t know how expensive a piece it is. The Rolex Day-Date 40 retails for $40,350 USD.

Tiger Woods’ Rolex Day-Date 4o in Everose Gold

A little more flashy but equally classy is Tiger’s Rolex Day-Date 40 in Everose (rose) gold with sunburst green dial. The rose gold case/bracelet and the green dial work together so well, much better than the yellow gold Daytona with green dial (sorry John Mayer). This watch is essentially identical to Woods’ white gold Day-Date besides the case material and dial color. But the Rolex Day-Date 40 in Everose gold also retails for $40,350 USD.

Tiger Woods’ ROlex Deepsea Sea-Dweller James Cameron Edition

More recently, Tiger has been seen wearing one of Rolex’s larger offerings, the Deepsea Sea-Dweller. Because of the watch’s patented Ringlock technology and airtight waterproofness, it can reach ocean depths of 3,900 meters (12,800 feet). Woods has the James Cameron Edition. Instead of a typical black dial, the watch has a dial that slowly changes from blue at the top to black at the bottom. Tiger even wore this piece when he won his last major tournament, The Masters back in 2019. The Rolex DeepSea Sea-Dweller James Cameron Edition sells on the gray market for around $17,000 USD.
