THE JUICE:

The two models both look good in their own regard. The steel model with blue dial is handsome, without any serious amount of clutter that often comes with Worldtimer.

The black DLC model features a more tactical look with a black fabric textile strap and a monochromatic dial.

I have a love/hate relationship with Worldtimers. One one hand (no pun intended), they are a useful companion for  heavy travelers, but on the other hand, they’re typically less aesthetically… legible. Bulgari has done a fantastic job of utilizing the Octo case for these modes. While the watches feature some pretty fancy locations on the perimeter of the dial (admittedly I had to look a couple of these places up), they’re easily readable.

Inside the watch watch is the Bulgari in-house BVL257 - a highly capable movement. With a lot of enthusiasts who consider the brand more of a jeweler than a watchmaker, having an in-house Worldtimer operated by a single crown is feat that should give the brand some added street-cred in the watch ethos. I’m a big fan of the brand, and this is just another validation that Bulgari is stepping up to the plate, and smashing a home run in the industry.

How much is the Bulgari Octo Roma Worldtimer?

Price for the watch will be $8,350 and be available at the beginning of October.
