Roger Dubuis Introduces Another Collab with Lamborghini

THE JUICE:

As I said before, this isn’t the first time time the two brands have collaborated. Actually, this isn’t the first time Roger Dubuis has made a watch based on the Huracan. Actually, this isn’t even the first time Roger Dubuis has made this exact watch in a different color or material. We’ve seen this watch in white ceramic, black carbon, rose gold, Perelli blue... You get the picture.

The novelty of these creations are, honestly, in the fans of both brands, and particularly the cars. With each new edition of Lambo’s race machines, it seems a Roger Dubuis watch is close behind it. And that’s fitting. I’d pair the two together well. If ever there was a cutting edge supercar watch brand, one could argue the case for Roger Dubuis. There is certainly no shortage of super car influence.

The watch case, and it’s many features are very recognizably influenced by Lamborghini. Everything from the honeycomb “grill” of the dial, to the case cutout shapes, to the crown literally being shaped like the cars racing screws are dripping with obvious references to the cars. Even removing the color scheme and textures, one familiar with Lamborghini could draw the parallels to each piece of race car goodness - which, is a testament to how well the two brands coincide together. For me, if I was ever to own a super car watch… I’d want it to be blatantly obvious that it’s a super car watch. And that’s exactly what we’re getting here. So. Bravo guys.

How much is the Roger Dubuis Excalibur Spider Huracan EVO2 Black Carbon?

The watch will be limited to a small 88 pieces, and carry a price tag of $59,500 USD.
