Dubai Watch Week 2025: New Location, Over 90 Brands

Dubai Watch Week 2025 ###

If you’re into watches, you’ve probably heard of Dubai Watch Week by now. But in case you haven’t, or just need a reason to put Dubai on your travel list this year, here’s the scoop on why the 2025 edition might be worth checking out.

Dubai Watch Week isn’t your typical industry trade show. It’s not tucked away in a convention center or full of private appointments. It’s open to the public, it’s free to attend, and it’s actually fun. This November, from the 19th to the 23rd, the event returns for its seventh edition and it’s looking bigger than ever.

A New Spot in Downtown Dubai

This year’s event is moving to Dubai Mall and Burj Park, right in the middle of the city and surrounded by some iconic landmarks like the Burj Khalifa and The Dubai Fountain. The venue is a massive 200,000 square feet, which should make for a more spacious and immersive experience. The goal seems to be making it more accessible and enjoyable for everyone, whether you’re a seasoned collector or someone just getting into watches.

90+ Brands, From Big Names to Micro Brands

One of the biggest changes this year is the number of participating brands. Over 90 are confirmed, which is nearly 50 percent more than last time. You’ve got the usual heavy hitters like Rolex, Audemars Piguet, TUDOR, TAG Heuer, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Chopard. All of them will have their own dedicated spaces.

What I’m more excited about, though, is the continued support for smaller, independent brands. There’s a whole section this year just for micro and ultra-niche brands. You’ll find names like MB&F, Kurono Tokyo, Atelier Wen, Studio Underd0g, MING, and Rexhep Rexhepi, alongside lesser known but incredibly talented makers. This is the part of the show where you can actually talk to the people behind the watches, learn about their approach, and maybe even discover a brand you’ve never heard of.

A Decade of Dubai Watch Week

2025 also marks the 10-year anniversary of Dubai Watch Week, which started back in 2015. Since then, it’s grown into something pretty unique. It’s still focused on horology, but it’s also become a place for community, culture, and creativity. According to Hind Seddiqi, CEO of Dubai Watch Week, they’re planning to shake up the programming a bit this year to make it more interactive and memorable. That includes new talks, workshops, and events designed to bring people together and make the whole thing feel less like a trade show and more like a celebration.

More Than Just Watches

What I’ve always liked about Dubai Watch Week is that it’s not just about watches. It’s about everything that comes with being into watches, the people, the stories, the design, the art, and the craftsmanship. You can go from geeking out over a vintage-inspired chronograph to hearing a panel discussion about sustainability in watchmaking, then grab a bite overlooking the Dubai Fountain.

And being by the Dubai Mall, you’re also surrounded by one of the world’s largest retail and entertainment destinations. So even if someone you’re traveling with isn’t quite as into watches, there’s plenty for them to do while you’re checking out a minute repeater or listening to a talk on finishing techniques.

Should You Go?

If you’ve ever considered going to a watch event, this one is worth it. There’s no pressure, no exclusivity, and no need for an invitation. It’s open to anyone who loves watches or is just curious about the world around them. Whether you’re going to meet your favorite indie watchmaker, catch a panel talk, or just wander around and see what catches your eye, it’s a pretty great way to spend a few days.

Registration is already live at dubaiwatchweek.com, and they’re sharing updates on Instagram @dubaiwatchweek.

I hope to be there again this year, probably snapping photos and chatting with whoever will let me. If you see me, say hi. These events are always better when they’re shared with other people who love this hobby as much as you do.
